The first acquisitions
In June 2004, Hera began its territorial expansion strategy with the acquisition of the Ravenna Ecological Centre by Ambiente Spa, an Eni Group Company.
The merger of the Ferrara-based company Agea with Hera was concluded in December. The same month, Hera acquired 39% of SET from Rätia Energie AG and participated in the creation and management of the 400 MWe combined cycle power plant in Teverola, near Caserta.
